In my spare time, I enjoy music and outdoor activities, biking and climbing in particular!

I started playing Guzheng (a traditional Chinese instrument) and piano when I was 4, I am also into MIDI keyboard and drums. I received the Professional level-10 certificate with Distinction at 9 and held my personal concert at 10. I was also a member of Duke Music Ensemble during my PhD.

I usually listen to Alt/Psych Rock, French Electro/Dance, Folk, and Country … But above all, I am a die-hard Lana Del Rey fan.
