I am a Pisces and I was born in the Year of the Ox.

I spend a lot of time playing and listening to music. I am a die-hard Lana Del Rey fan, but every now and then, I do have a mix of music tastes - I usually listen to metal, rock, R&B, and French electronic/dance.

I once dreamed of being a musician and touring the world, but apparently, I ended up in STEM. I began playing Guzheng (a traditional Chinese instrument) when I was 4, since then, I have traveled and performed at various events and competitions. At 9, I received the Professional Level-10 Certificate with the Highest Distinction and held my own solo concert. I also play the drums and MIDI keyboards. During my PhD in North Carolina, I was a member of the Duke Music Ensemble.

I love driving and all kinds of outdoor activities - especially rock climbing and road biking.
